Exit the submarine. You are now in Deep Darkness. Talk to the bird to the left to save and call Escargo Express to get back your Hawk Eye. You can rest by speaking with the monkey just below. Go into the swamp and make your way to high ground. You will notice that if you stay underwater you will begin to slowly lose HP; make sure when you travel underwater you do it fast. Get on land and speak with the monkey on the right and teach it how to teleport. There is a business man selling items and a doctor to the left, and right at the entrance of the hill there is a person selling black market items. Make your way into the swamp. You will come across a part of the swamp where it's completely dark. Use the Hawk eye to lighten the place and move along. Grab the banana in the present and head down to find a man snorkeling in the water.
He'll meet you halfway. You'll know that you've made it when you see a cave entrance in the upper left corner of the map.
After the long journey through the Deep Darkness, you find a village of small, shy people. Go south from the village entrance and check the trash can to get a Death Ray for Jeff. You can use the nearby phone to save the game. Go northwest from that area to find a Tenda standing near a cave entrance. Talk to that Tenda to rest for free.
