I've dissed EB many times on here before, but truthfully I never shopped with them besides buying the odd new release or accessories, eb games preowned. Didn't like the latter so I exchanged it for No Man's Sky. Didn't like that either so I exchanged again for GTA 5, then there was a few bucks left eb games preowned so I shelled out a bit more and got Code Vein too. Not bad tbh.

Basically, at present there are no bundles that are particularly compelling to me. That would be fantastic! So anyway, it's not the price that's holding me back. What if I get an Xbox One that is in terrible condition? This brings me to the meat of my question: can anyone share their own experiences with buying preowned consoles for EB games and tell me if it's worth it, or if it's too much of a risk? EB games has a three month warranty on it, so I guess what I want to know is: if it works for three months after I get it, will be it be safe to assume it will continue working as normal beyond that?

My Mum and Dad gave me a new "pre-owned" game for my Birthday. They bought it from EB Games. It is called F1 Inside this game is the original disc and along with it came a card with a redemption code for an "add-on" called "Exclusive Career Booster Pack. Unfortunately, I cannot redeem this code because it has already been redeemed by the original owner.

May make it harder to sell them…. I believe that when an owner sells or eb games preowned a game with any codes attached, these codes should be reset because my Mum and Dad have paid money to a retailer to buy this game for me.

Given that PS5s are becoming a more common sight on store shelves as we head into Christmas, that people have been trading them in should not come as all that great of a surprise. Extremely limited stock. One might expect, given that they are second-hand, EB might charge slightly less for them. Until closer to Christmas, that is, when the stock of new consoles has run dry. And who will the desperate parents seeking a PS5 turn to then? A move by a version of the company from , when it held far more power in the marketplace than does now.

Which leads me to my second point… 2 Preowned Titles Don't ask me the percentage EB get for selling preowned copies of games, but given how our sales metrics were always skewed towards them, I'd say it's fairly high. That's so cheap, but you just got lucky, I doubt my local cash converters has one for that cheap but I'm forced to check now. I didn't consider selling the games. My name is Izack. That would be fantastic! Most trade in values when they are not having a sale are better at EB Games. Unfortunately as Smwutches mentioned we are not able to provide new codes for preowned games. All you loose is the shipping cost and ebay fees. I would still wait for a deal. However, I don't buy new from EB because their prices are often more expensive than elsewhere.
