No, not the delicious spice that supplies iodide a necessary nutrient ; I mean salt : the feeling you get when the Mizzix of the Izmagnus player combos out a turn before your victory; the emotion inspired by a Zur, the Enchanter pillowfort deck that you just can't get through to; the prickling sensation of a player who just resolved Armageddon It's easy for me to recall specific moments where a card made me salty, but it is much more edhrec salt score to judge whether a single card is inherently "salty".
November 2, by MtGDS. In each of the last several years, EDHREC has run a Salt Vote, in which the community is invited to decide, on a scale, just how "salty" each card is. The aggregated scores, across millions of votes, are attributed to cards as a "Salt Score", and you can learn a little more about those scores and see the Top Saltiest Cards on this page. The EDHRECast has an episode in which they discuss the saltiest Commander decks, and Luminarch made some really excellent graphics detailing the saltiest cards in different categories. I highly recommend checking out both to get a sense of what voters think of as salty. Generally speaking, it's mostly cards that don't let opponents play.

Frequently Asked Questions Help! EDH of Magic: the Gathering. EDHREC computes decklist statistics from popular deck-building websites, helping players new and old build decks of their own. Not sure where to get started? What is "Synergy"? What is the "Signature Cards" section? Synergy rating is intended to show cards that are particularly important to the commander or theme you are currently viewing. This is opposed to just cards that are generally played in most decks that are popular because they are individually strong. We did this because we wanted to show what cards were interesting to a commander in the Signature Cards section at the top of the page. What happens when I update my deck? We collect data daily from these pages and new data is reflected most often on pages within a few days. Tappedout was a source of data in the early stages of the website so some decks may still appear, but we are not collecting data from them currently. However, there are a number of things that can prevent a deck from being pulled in. If you have too many cards, too few cards, cards out of your color identity, or banned cards, our database will not pick it up intentionally. However, there are a number of things that can go wrong between EDHREC and the source websites and there is no way to notify you that something went wrong.
