Elite Dance Project strives to provide high-quality and innovative dance training, elite dance project. Our studio is a place where children of all ages, shapes and sizes can learn to dance. Our studio is where creativity, individuality and self-expression is encouraged and has a community of teachers, students and families who are passionate about performing arts.

Toni has been studying dance for almost 30 years and teaching dance for 20 of them. She got her start in Maine where after her first recital, she fell in love with the world of dance. She attended an arts enriched high school, which allowed her to make dance the primary focus of her high school education. It was here that she began teaching, choreographing, and directing numerous dance shows and musicals. Toni also obtained her first dance certification at that time. She then went on to the University of New Hampshire to further enrich her training in dance.

Ballet is the foundation of all dance genres. It is a classical form of dance that teaches grace, technique and precision. Tap dance is a type of dance characterized by using the sounds of metal taps affixed to the heel and toe of shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion, coupled with both characteristic and interpretative body movements. Jazz class will focus on learning proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns. Students will be exposed to various styles of jazz such as Broadway, Street and Contemporary to help develop a well rounded dancer. Acrobatics is a combination of dance and tumbling. Students first learn basic gymnastics skills such as cartwheels, back bends and rolls, then advance to tucks, aerials and springs. Acrobatics also uses the flexibility of the back and the legs to execute slow and controlled movements. Lyrical is an expressive genre of dance that uses ballet and jazz technique to tell a story through movement. Hip hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements.
