The Zealot is a Covenant command rank associated primarily with the Sangheili.

The Sangheili Zealots are the elite Covenant Sangheili officers who is charged with the recovery of Forerunner artifacts. The Sangheili homeworld, Sanghelios, had at one point been visited by or had been in contact with the mysterious Forerunners.
