Hi, can someone please let me know the best way to make an official complaint please? I've tried going through the phone countless times and I'm always either lied to or hung up on. A brief ish summary of my situation is below I signed up to Virgin Media on July 1st, and booked my installation for July 31st. After getting all of my conformation emails and contract documents, i contacted my current provider to cancel my services on August 1st. My current provider were unwilling to cancel my August 1st leaving date unless i signed up to a new 2 year deal, so i paid another company for a temporary 4g-based connection for 10 days not cheap at all by the way A few days before August 10th, the same thing happened - now pushing me back until August 28th. Yet again, i had to pay an inflated cost to keep my temporary internet. August 28th install was then cancelled again, and since then i have had 3 or 4 more install dates, which have all subsequently been cancelled each time, adding yet more cost to my temporary internet. My most recent install data was October 7th, which was cancelled without notifying me i only noticed as i checked my "orders and appointments" page which was now showing "you don't have any appointments booked" and as of now, i still have absolutely no idea when they plan to install my services. I have called customer services countless times throughout this ordeal, and each time i an transferred to the "pre-installation team", who are able to tell me absolutely nothing of any use. Each time i am simply told "it is a delay with the external works" - and unsurprisingly, no one is able to give me a date when these external works will be completed, and no one is able to give me any contact information for the team responsible for this. Each time i speak to the pre-install team, i am promised that they have filled in a request for the correct team to contact me and ill hear from them "in hours" and not once has this happened, and I've had just about enough of being lied to by them. When i try to make a complaint via the phone, i am always just transferred to the pre-install team yet again, who simply tell me the same lies as before either that or they leave me on hold for 20 mins before simply hanging up - as happened about 15 minutes ago. Firstly, this is absolutely normal for a new Virginmedia connection.
