I am relatively new to 4wdtrip, extreme 4x4 hoppers crossing. I drive a 93 80 series landcruiser that has an ARB bullbar which has been on the vehicle since new, and of course makes no provisions for a winch. Now I would like to say I am so experienced that I don't need a winch cos my skills combined with driving a cruiser I never get bogged, stuck or end up in a precarious situation - but that would not be true, many times Extreme 4x4 hoppers crossing have had to drag out the turfir hand winch much to my disgust to extricate myself from whatever mess I have gotten into.
