Fable Diner is the sister restaurant to the fancier Fable Kitchen, located on West 4th. Because of Covid, Fable Diner is only taking reservations. Thankfully we were able to make a reservation on arrival, for zero minutes from now. There was only one other couple in the entire restaurant, but I think the purpose of the reservation system is to enable contact tracing. We were shown to our table and then explained the protocol for during our meal — for example, pushing our plates to the far edge of the table when we were finished with them and how to signal for water. The staff were taking their protocols seriously; I was appreciative of this.

Both desserts are pretty fable diner reviews, however I do prefer the Lemon Parfait. ICBC writes off customized van after owner spends three months trying to find body shop to repair it. The restaurant itself is definitely a throwback to a bygone era.

Staff were great and friendly. The duck pancake was good except the kimchi overpowered the dish and made some parts of my pancake soggy. Hubby loved the fancy strawberry milkshake. February We go there because my friend loves the milkshakes. I've not had one but will take her word for it.

The all-day breakfast is a strong suit here. The chicken was crispy and juicy, the bun not too stodgy and the filling well balanced. Comments may take up to an hour for moderation before appearing on the site. I do love the family-friendly feel of this place, and seeing MacGillivray stop by a table with a baby on board, trying to make the stoic little guy laugh. The wings had a good crunch and the ranch was a nice way to temper the hot wings. It definitely felt like a diner inside and the food was very much what you would expect to find on a diner menu, but the quality itself was definitely elevated from a standard diner experience.
