Pretty sure they're the only place in the game where you can get the Plasma Caster, and unfortunately they don't sell it. You'll either have to kill them or do something silly like drag the Plasma Caster into a corner of the room so you can safely steal it. Anyone scared to kill them over losing a "good energy weapons" vendor must not be aware that the BoS have a better shop for energy weapons than the VG. Just complete all the BoS quest and gain access to their "entire" store. They sell energy weapons and ammo and you get free MF cells in the case at their entrance. And to whoever needs MF cells

Fallout: New Vegas. I have also completed "King's Gambit" by plasma-rifling Pacer in his sleep, thus casting blame on the Van Graffs. Now I'm actually about to go to Silver Rush and kill them all in order to loot the place. But are there any more quests that involve fighting the Van Graffs? Should I wait for those quests to come about or is it okay to kill them now? I don't want to lose the XPs if there are quests available. So are there no more quests left to take out the Van Graffs? Also, even if you kill them before being tasked with, you'd get the same rewards. The Van Graffs is one of those things where you can only do so much of them if you want Cass to stay alive. Eventually they ask you to kill Cass, but if you talk to Cass before she asks you to hunt down the people who raided her caravan back when. You do that and then you get a choice quest to kill the Van Graffs or Cass. Usually I do the Graffs till they want me to kill Cass then I turn on them and loot all their awesome stuff. But yeah, I don't think you get anything special if you stay with the Graffs besides reputation. So has this bug been fixed, or was I just lucky?

Birds of a Feather is a quest in Fallout: New Vegas. The Van Graffs are not a family one wants to get on their bad side; in fact, the family can provide some incentive to work with them. To whom it may concern, if you're reading this, then I am likely dead. I can only hope that I have managed to take out some of those thrice-damned Van Graffs with me. My family deserves that much at least. The Vault - Fallout Wiki. The Vault - Fallout Wiki Explore. Dark skin Light skin Switching skins. Random Page Recent changes Recent Files. Fallout

They've tried to block our expansion for years, but we've managed to grow regardless. The problem is they have, too. Gloria is the ambitious daughter of the Van Graff matriarch, who has expanded her family's operations into the Mojave Wasteland largely because she didn't get along with her parents. The first opportunity to do so came when the Van Graffs first came to Freeside in The Van Graffs took over the dilapidated Silver Rush casino. When the Kings protested, plasma weapons caused them to withdraw the objections, leaving the family free to ply their trade. This attracted the attention of the Brotherhood , the only thing saving her skin being Elder Elijah 's preoccupation with Helios One. Her general strategy is to maximize profits through official and unofficial deals, as well as undercutting the competition. Of course, Gloria has bigger ambitions. As the Legion was making entreaties towards traders in the Mojave, she contacted one of their representatives and agreed to provide them with energy weapons.

The whole city's still run by crime families. I'm not worried about anyone breaking in here or stealing our goods. He threatens people for looking at him the wrong way and is far from all talk; he will go from zero-to-murder in the twitch of an eye. In return for hitting competing caravan outfits, like Durable Dunn's or Cassidy Caravans , staging them as Brotherhood attacks, the Crimson Caravan Company would undermine the Gun Runners ' market share, motivating clients to deal with the Van Graffs instead. Only servants. Now it's the Wrights and Van Graffs. If they wanted to, they could have beaten us a dozen times over. I know I did. Is it weird that on my second playthrough, the general store guy in goodsprings was selling a plasma caster in the beginning of the game? Fighting them is out of the question now. I saw an opportunity and negotiated a deal with the NCR - I help draw some of their enemy's troops into a trap and they agree to buy from me. I was literally scared to kill the VG family until I found this out lol. If you can believe it, things are even worse back home.
Are you familiar with the Van Graffs?
He must have his own weapons supplies to keep as many laser-armed robots operational as he does. Plus, after the whole lot is dead, you can loot the entire building. When the Kings protested, plasma weapons caused them to withdraw the objections, leaving the family free to ply their trade. A Cassidy Caravans wagon train destroyed in an attack staged to look like a Brotherhood attack. Ask A Question.

Remarkably! Thanks!
