After plugging a diagnostic tool in the code came up as P which it says is 'intake manifold air control actuator position' Can anyone please help shed some light on this problem?? About 2 weekends ago i took it to the coast on sandy roads, the engine light came on and after driving about kms back home the code that came out was P, could this be only a sensor that is faulty or a "according to the dealer" ZAR repair job. Once the error code is reset i can drive normally for a few kilometers before it goes back into limp mode. The problem is intermittend and I am not convinced that it is mechanical. If this is the problem should the car ever run normally eg, when i switch the car on and start to drive normally the car runs fine and does not go into limp mode, however as soon as i drive very slowly, the car goes into limp mode until it is switched off, when started again back to normal performance. Could this not be an electrical problem? But it's unlikely the clips as this was more a problem when they first came out so only affected low mileage engines and cold starts, as soon as it had warmed up you could clear the code and it would be fine. If your swirl motor is covered in oil it's a good change it's the fault. However the dealer can activate it with star scan to see if it will moves if you think it's a wiring fault.

Went for a drive car is running much smoother now but then i popped it into sport mode when it hit rpms got epc come on again and ran the obd2 and got given the same codes i started off with as well as one for the oil pressure not sure about this one. Startversuch , sodass ich jetzt mal auf Fehlersuche gegangen bin. Die Frage ist, woran liegt es? Vorher hatte man versucht ein Rohr wieder aufzubohren weil es verkokt war, das war es aber nicht. Was war der Grund bei dir, dass die klappen sich nicht bewegt haben?
