Among Final Fantasy 16 characters, Dion Lesage is one of the most willing to risk his ff16 dion, but the game leaves his ultimate fate open to interpretation. FF16 has a high body count.
Officially, it was because developer Square Enix refused to alter scenes in the game for the territory, which led to rumors and speculation that the 16th game in the long-running RPG series would have explicit gay sex scenes, which spawned memes and earnest excitement. Dion Lesage is a lot of things. From what little we see of the relationship, Terence is almost exclusively characterized by his devotion to his boyfriend. In the grand scheme of things that feels like a missed opportunity, but I gotta admit, I am captivated by the desperation and unbridled loyalty Terence demonstrates when he stands alongside Dion. Dion is nothing but caring for Terence when it would have been easy for a royal and his faithful knight to fall into toxic, abusive tropes.

Dion is a complex character, as he is constantly balancing his own strong sense of ethics against his loyalty to his father and empire. As Emperor Sylvestre begins taking the Sanbreque Empire down a darker path, Dion suspects his stepmother Anabella is the cause. After Joshua shares information about Ultima with Dion, the crown prince of Sanbreque becomes rightfully paranoid, but he still did not see the true threat in time to save the empire. While honor and chivalry are important to Dion, Sylvestre plans to negotiate a peace treaty with the republic and then order an attack on its retreating armies. It is unclear whether Sylvestre was truly succumbing to the influence of Anabella, or if the chaos of war simply exposed his true, opportunistic nature. Even without the elusive threat of Ultima, Dion had every reason to believe Anabella was manipulating his father. The Sanbreque arc of Final Fantasy 16 involves Dion boldly attempting a coup. Though Olivier was a small child, he displayed the cruelty and sadism of Joffrey Baratheon from Game of Thrones , and Anabella enabled his vile behavior every bit as much as Cersei did with her child. The scene that followed conveniently placed Clive, Joseph, and Dion in the ruins near Anabella and Olivier. Dion saw the true vessel for Ultima at that time revealed as Olivier, and finished what he started in the throne room, slaying the child emperor. The game does not spell out whether the child shared a body with Ultima, or if the real Olivier died in childbirth. It is possible that Ultima was manipulating Anabella in some fashion, shaping events so she would betray Elwin and marry Emperor Sylvestre in order to give birth to a perfectly positioned vessel.
Ff16 dion alone against the threat, Dion used all his might to conjure a light beam to push the energy concentration away, but ended up taking the full brunt of the onslaught, which dispelled his prime and he fell from the sky, ff16 dion, content destroyed in seconds meme the knowledge that he had bested this form of Ultima and saved Joshua and Clive so the two could go on to save the world; as Dion fell, presumably to his death, Bahamut's final burst of light beams attacked Ultima from all directions, ripping his form apart. Despite his misgivings, ff16 dion, he left for the ff16 dion on his father's command, but his words fueled the elder Lesage's suspicions against his casino.rewards son.

It was almost more fun doing it that way as I was able to experience all the gut-wrenching story beats with the streamers and their chat which was great fun! A: I love to hook onto adjectives about a character that immediately jump out from a script and it was so obvious so quickly with Dion. It was so satisfying to see him eventually ally himself with Clive, despite everything, as the pair really do share so much in terms of their desire to do right by other people. Dion is so selfless, whether on a micro scale with his lover or on a macro Empire-spanning scale, taking constant risks priming into Bahamut despite the cost to his health.
Final Fantasy 16 has multiple gay characters, and even a side companion with a deep trans allegory tied into their very existence. Everything about them is explicit and deliberate, with lore descriptions going so far as to describe key characters of the same sex as lovers. There is no entertaining other interpretations, and that kicks ass. The first piece of representation is a small conversation between a soldier and a male sex worker within the military town of Northreach. While you stumble across a handful of minor queer voices throughout Final Fantasy 16, it is a more secondary element of storytelling than anything else.
