We stopped at the Holiday Inn which is just opposite to the Pub, and we visited this Pub Restaurant in April , I can only describe it as very good and reasonably priced, the staff were polite and attentive, there is a good selection of Thank you for reaching out to us. My parents recommended this place as a comforting place to eat and what a great recommendation it was. Me and my partner had a wonderful meal with the full lashings of starter, main and pudding. From the moment we walked in the door we were The food here was incredible! And still i feel that maybe an understatement! We had the lamb duo, which looked amazing and the taste even better! My dish was the signature burger, and wow never had a better burger ever!

Visited here on New Year's Day and it was very indifferent. The food on the whole was okay, but nothing special, and had the Hunters Chicken followed by the Eton Mess. The service was odd, slow and not my bag.
