His is an ordinary struggle-against everyday evil-in extraordinarily dangerous times. The writer Anthony Horowitz does not receive sufficient credit for his intricate, thought provoking scripts. On par with Morse but that blighter was such a prick--and Christopher Foyle is most certainly not. I can't say enough about this series. Great characters, great writing, great plots! This particular episode was very moving--so much pain in so many lives. I just finished watching and I feel like I can't even speak. I need a moment
