We believe all dogs should be given a chance and fair evaluation. Through education, training and matching dogs to the right homes, we hope to reduce the number of brachycephalic dogs that are euthanized unnecessarily. SNORT is an all-volunteer non-profit rescue based in the Northeast United States whose purpose is to rescue short-nosed dogs like French Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, English Bulldogs and Pugs from shelters and owners who can no longer keep them, with the goal of placing them into loving homes. Through education, training and matching dogs to the right homes, we hope to reduce the number of short-nosed dogs that are euthanized unnecessarily.

Short Mugs Rescue Squad is a nonprofit c 3 organization dedicated to the health and well-being of French Bulldogs. We are based out of Texas and run and managed solely by volunteers. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home French Bulldogs that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, strays, commercial breeding kennels, import brokers and private rescue groups. We also rescue other brachycephalic breeds such as English Bulldogs, Boston Terriers and Pugs on a case by case basis. We are based out of the Houston area, but we rescue across the entire state of Texas along with Oklahoma and Louisiana. We do not usually adopt to out of state applicants. The reason for this is if there is a need to return the dog for any reason we do not have any volunteers in the area to take them back in. We will consider out of state applicants on a case by case basis in the states of OK and LA only.
