This is where you can request Pokemon and ask for my opinion on how they do competitively. Warning: My opinion Requested by: TheRainbowSylveon. At this point in time, gastrodon smogon, Gastrodon is a Pokemon that suddenly shot gastrodon smogon from one of the lowest to the highest tiers.

Gastrodon has an excellent defensive typing, only being weak to Grass. This typing allows it to check threats like Steelix, Aggron and Charizard. Storm Drain gives it an immunity to Water, checking water types. This makes it a great volt switch absorber. Scald allows Gastrodon to cripple offensive Pokemon with a chance to burn, also doing decent damage. Earth Power conpliments Scald, as it hits most offensive Water types, and Recover allows Gastrodon to stay around longer.

It evolves from Shellos starting at level Gastrodon has two different forms : West Sea Gastrodon , which is pink and brown in appearance, and East Sea Gastrodon , which is blue and green. They are found on the respective sides of Sinnoh 's mountain range. Much like its pre-evolved form, it has a slug-like body with a round head and a mantle covering the top half of its body.
