Generation 5 introduced more new Pokemon than any other generation ever, and some funky-looking Legendaries among them, too. Take a look at this list of all Generation 5 Legendary Pokemon. Generation 5 was sort of like a soft reboot of the Pokemon franchise. They wanted to make the experience resemble Gen 1 as much as they could. Generation 5 introduced fewer Legendaries than its predecessors, and, luckily, most of them have been carried over to newer games. Its tail is like an engine: it can light up and combust when in Overdrive Mode. Along with Reshiram, they were based on the Ying-Yang.

Gen 5 legendaries

As part of this extremely-populous generation, there are quite a few Legendaries. Some of them have different forms and some don't need them to be super cool. Many have likened their roles to the Three Musketeers and D'Artagnan, the fourth musketeer, being represented by Keldo. Of the three, Terrakion is definitely the least interesting design-wise. It basically looks like a big boulder with a face, which is fine given its typing, but it's not visually distinct enough from many other designs to set it apart. However, turn to Terrakion's fantastic shiny form, and it would definitely place higher on this list. The Forces of Nature or the kami trio, as they're sometimes called are a trio of genie-like Legendaries in Generation V. The three of them look relatively similar in their Incarnate Forms, but pretty distinct in their Therian Forms. Thundurus is definitely the most boring of the three, turning into a snake or dragon-like creature that isn't too different from its Incarnate Form. Slightly better than Thundurus but still not the best of its trio is Landorus, the trio master of the genies. As the "Great Landorus," this guy is worshipped by the people of the land for settling the fighting between the other two. Overall, Landorus seems solid and intimidating, and it should. It can fuse with one or the other to create White Kyurem or Black Kyurem, both of which are a bit over-designed but definitely cool.

In this case, gen 5 legendaries, Xerneas represents life, and is capable of bestowing life to everything around it, while Yveltal embodies destruction, and constantly saps the life gen 5 legendaries of anything near it. Kyurem acted as the main antagonist in Kyurem vs. Solgaleo and Lunala both represent the sun and moon as one would expect, but their counterpart Necrozma has a different story.

These are obtained after you have beaten the Elite Four and N's plan of attack comes into fruition. They will once again be at Level
