Gianni's Cafe has two locations - this review is for the Palatine location. They offer gluten free noodles spaghetti and penne as well as zoodles as substitutes. Staff is always helpful about checking whether a particular dish has any other undisclosed gluten before I order. Of course, I would always wish for more GF options, but am happy I can enjoy this local Italian gem even with my food restrictions. I loved this restaurant before I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, and I still love it today!

Is a family owned and operated, Full service Italian Restaurant. For over 16 years we have been serving some of the freshest seafood, pasta and other Italian entrees in the Chicagoland area. There are two locations for Gianni's cafe, Kildeer and Palatine. Both offer amazing food and service. I am a fan of the Palatine location, because I don't Chicken Parm and Seafood Suprema. The martinis are good buzz! Love it. Will come back:. Amazing tasty food. Great ambiance but they do a great job with take out as well.

The food is always fantastic, possibly the best Italian in the Chicagoland area. The only issue is they overbook it on the weekends and its understaffed. From the time we sat, to the time our meals arrived was just short of 90 minutes. The Deer Park location is the better bet if you're going to go on a Friday or Saturday night.
