I'm sure there are other differences, I just don't know what they are. Thank you in advance for your coments. The 'Studio' category has been given to several guitars Hi Nick and welcome aboard! I just bought one and it truly "sings", I could not be happier. Of couse the pricier version has some upgrades but in the words of Mike Voltz, Gibson Product Specialist, the Studio is "every bit a just as the rest of them" watch here Before we discuss what the Studio doesn't have let's talk about what it does. For there have been numerous improvements in the Gibson Memphis line up that have trickled down into the Studio as well. Namely, reinforced neck, beefier Historic truss rod, lower profile frets, locking tailpiece, Grover tuners, rolled fingerboard edges and new for the Studio this year For the money the Studio is a lot of guitar by any measure.

I absolutely love the stripped down simplified form of this guitar. But it is hard to find any info on this guitar, and the info I do find it seems to list both the and the in the same group. But I came across a video from NAMM in the Gibson booth where they claimed there are improvements with the Studio but they didn't go into detail. Now I cannot find a comparison of either guitar, hell I can't find actual build sheets on either guitar. Does anybody know the different between the two?

I've got a friend who has a brand new set of GraphTech saddles that will fit the guitar he said I can have for free, so once I have them in hand I might try them out on the next string change.
