GKR Karate offers martial arts based self defense classes for kids, adults and families at over 50 locations across London with classes available for children, gkr karate locations, teens, adults as well as families training together! Karate is not just about physical fitness and self defense.

Most locations are within minutes of each other, thereby catering for classes 7 days per week. GKR classes are suitable for all ages 5 yrs and up , and we also run specialised kids only classes in many locations. There are 36 regions throughout the UK. Each region is managed and operated by a qualified Regional Manager. Their role is to oversee both the karate training and business development within their region. I signed my children up in and watched them from the sidelines for 2 years. After many invites from the Sensei I finally joined in and wish I started sooner. Being able to train alongside my children is something so rare in sports these days and something I'm so grateful to be able to do! We train in the same class as our 2 kids aged 11 and 6. There's not many sports that you can do that with, let alone sports that provide such lifelong benefits and skills for the kids.
