Looking for a nice restaurant in Benalmadena? The coastline of Benalmadena is lined with local Chiringuito restaurants offering mostly fried fish in all shapes and sizes, normally of very bad quality — I have never had a positive dining experience in any of these. If you want to enjoy good food with a nice view, you will have to look a bit harder see comments about my restaurant research at the bottom of the article. Combining amazing food quality, with friendly service and in some cases awesome views, these restaurants will certainly deliver on their promises.

Authentic Italian pizza with a excellent view of the harbour, Restaurante Pinocho is one of Benalmadena's best restaurants. Great and valuable food. Would definetly recommend families or a big group of people to eat here, the view over the boats in the marina was also worth to mention. The recommended wine was also great, the place was very cosy and everything was perfect for us as a couple. Unfortunately the croquettes arrived with my soup starter even though they're not listed as a starter. Service was very fast and efficient and you have nice reviews of the marina. One of the best dinings in my life! The owner was extremely kind, warm and joyful and made us feel right like home. Not a great experience, rather a very chaotic setting, staff all over the place, forgetting orders and then giving you the wrong food. We did enjoy our visit, but would likely stick to pizza if we decide to return.

Tapas much reduced - the patatas bravas is now chips in a sauce - not very Spanish!! Even this Dutch couple that were sitting there as we were contemplating to eat there, went out of their way to tell us that the food was good.
