And I'll declare straight up - I am a fan of Levy! When I got back into chess during the pandemic, I had two major inspirations. First was the amazing Queen's Gambit Netflix series, which got me back into playing some online games. The second was in fact Levy's YouTube channel in those early days! In addition to finding his content fun and entertaining, I found his early instructional content very useful in terms of learning to improve.

IM Levy Rozman 's first chess book is months away from being released, but it has already sold more than 12, copies and made it to 1 on Amazon's best-seller lists. The online chess streamer, popularly known as GothamChess, is the world's biggest chess YouTuber with more than four million subscribers. I had no idea what to expect when I launched the pre-orders. I am really happy where it currently stands and excited to see where the book goes from here," Rozman told Chess. This book is awesome and I highly recommend. This book had me laughing pretty much the whole way through. This chapter is fifteen pages of brilliance, especially for a beginner-intermediate player, and I wish more of the book was like this. Videos for this product Click to play video. Notably, the book had previously achieved the top ranking in the first two aforementioned categories. I tried to space the exercises over several days, to take them in little by little, re-doing a couple of earlier exercises from the chapter in between. Heck I think everyone liked it, the only 3 or less stared reviews were if the book was damaged by amazon shipping or they are masters and already know this material. My phone browser problems also started when I was doing that chapter, so that added to the frustration. Thank you Levy Rozman. I think it was the right balance.
