The food quality is a lot above average for all inclusive hotels variety of snacks and sandwiches,pizza and pasta station ,grii station,souvlaki,gyro,burgers, ice cream Everything there is just AMAZING! All the staff work very hard from reception to cleaners to kitchen to entertainment you can see how hard they all work and still with a smile on there faces. The food was great. The staff was extremely kind and made us feel very welcome. Nice and clean areas, and cleaning at the room every day. The beach was meters away. Food was fine and there was plenty of it. My father who is disabled came with us and after explaining the room allocated was not suitable as there were too many steps fir him they relocated to a suitably placed room for him. The food was fab something for everyone. The hotel itself was clean and tidy the rooms cleaned every day we all had a thoughrouly enjoyable look e time there. Gouves is a seaside resort on the island of Crete. It is located about 20 kilometres from Heraklion, the capital of Crete. Gouves lies actually between Heraklion and Hersonissos and has a very good sandy beach. By establishing many hotels in Gouves, it has turned into a nice holiday resort. Gouves is centrally located and is a good base for exploring the island. In Gouves there are plenty of nice restaurants and tavernas. Compared to other resorts on the north coast of Crete Gouves is a quiet place. Although there are some nice bars here, for the real nightlife one would be better going to Hersonissos or Heraklion.
