Zeno is a childlike god who has no real combat skill, and is instead simply the embodiment of raw and unparalleled power, making any kind of combat knowledge irrelevant. Though Zeno doesn't fight in the traditional sense, he is responsible for the deaths, or rather un-existences, of countless beings across multiple universes, including one of Goku's most formidable and sinister foes. In that storyline, Universe 7 within the Dragon Ball multiverse which is the universe in which Goku and the other Z-Fighters reside has a tournament with Universe 6. When the tournament ends, Grand Zeno himself appears at the ring and declares that there will be an even greater tournament to come with all twelve universes competing against each other - an event that would soon be known as the Tournament of Power. When Zeno first reveals himself to Universes 6 and 7, Goku immediately introduces himself, shaking hands with the god of the multiverse, much to Lord Beerus' concern.

Grand Zeno , also called the Omni-King , the King of All , and the Lord of Everything , is the overarching protagonist, as well as an anti-hero , of the Japanese martial arts fantasy manga series Dragon Ball Super and its anime television series adaptation of the same name. Zeno is the co-supreme ruler of the entire multiverse and seemingly the most powerful being in all of existence along with his future counterpart. Every divine being, including the Gods of Destruction, the Angels, and the Supreme Kais, respected and feared Zeno's power and followed his rule as a result. Despite such a fearsome reputation, the Omni-King had the mental capacity of a child and usually only committed himself to indulging his every impulsive desire. The Omni-King is a very small humanoid figure. He has a rather blank expression on his face and has purple and blue stripes on his face as well. He also has no nose present. His head has a rather lemon like shape, with his two ears being pointed and grey. Zeno, despite being the supreme ruler of the multiverse, is a childish being who seeks to have fun. He maintains the facade of having a general indifference about life, as well as all the other stuff within the multiverse, having destroyed six of the eighteen universes after a bout of anger, and also destroying several planets in a game he played with his future self times. In the manga version of the Universe Survival Saga, however, it is implied by Grand Minister that the real reason why he destroyed the aforementioned six universes was simply to get rid of what he felt were too many universes. He apparently wished to decrease that number further for some time, with the Tournament of Power being the perfect opportunity to do so.

His power was such that he could even effortlessly erase people who had been granted immortality via the Super Dragon Ballsas demonstrated by his future self with Infinite Zamasu in grand zeno the manga and anime, grand zeno. When his future counterpart gets hugged by Goku, he likewise seems unfazed.

This cavalier attitude pushes Zeno to delegate all his duties to his Grand Priest , which triggers a chain reaction of responsibilities across all deities from Angels, to Gods of Destruction, and beyond. Throughout the first match of the Zen Exhibition Match, they seem to take a liking to Buu 's nature as well, since he is goofy, high-spirited, childish, and playful, much like the Kings of All. He was also unable to observe Dyspo 's great speed, requiring slow motion function in his GodPad, while Vados was in fact capable of keeping up with Dyspo's speed. However, all of these reckless acts of destruction are still nowhere close to Zeno's grand total. Though they state they have made their decision, they would allow it if Bergamo wins in his battle against Goku. After Goku promises to bring him a friend even more fun than himself after he settles his business on earth, Zeno gives Goku a button. Ultimately, due to this childish and naive nature driving Zeno to often make impulsive and irresponsible decisions, and despite having everything under his whim, the Grand Minister is usually the one who handles the more responsible matters the most, along with the one who controls a large portion of Zeno's authority himself, hereby making him somewhat of his grand vizier. Future Zeno agreed, and from that point on the entirety of the Dragon Ball multiverse was run by two Zenos instead of one. Frieza and Frost are forced to play along as both know that defying Zen-Oh is a fate worse than death Frost having experienced it first hand. The Zenos agree to hold the event, much to Goku's delight. After a moment, Zeno pondered removing them of their powers and position before deciding to let them off the hook for now, clearly intent on warning them that they aren't making a good impression of him. Zeno appears after Hearts has been defeated, blissfully unaware of the events that had transpired and is shown playing a game of hide and seek with Future Zeno , Beerus , and Champa. This special ability allows him to create any object out of nothing. Some time after the defeat of Zamasu, Zeno and his future counterpart are visited by Goku, who reminds the former of the tournament promised to the Saiyan after the conclusion of the previous tournament.
