The iconic North End doughnut shop had announced back in August that they were expecting to close at the end of January to make way for a total revamp. Owner Barb Aiello told The Spectator that the renovations would see their kitchen and display cases double in size, grandads donuts, while their long-standing grandads donuts seating will become stools at the window, grandads donuts.
