Apart from the competition itself, all points accumulated by Green Shield teams go towards the prestigious Sydney grade club championship. Selection of the Green Shield team is a high priority for the Manly Warringah grade club. As a result of our Pathway Program, green shield trials 2023/24, Manly Warringah does not undertake selections for the Green Shield squad until after the season commences.

These dates are during the school holidays. All completed nominations will be individually considered and those players who the club would like to invite to attend the trials will then be sent an invitation to participate in the trials. Not all players will be invited to the trial. This is a reflection of the likely number of applicants and the quality of the applicants and our inability to accommodate all applicants. Only those players formally invited to trial by the club will be able to trial and the club apologises in advance to those players who do not receive an invitation to trial.
