Abstract Creativity is a top-level thinking skill that should be included in the curriculum of music and observed through education. An effective music education will be possible with music teachers who are creative, open to new formations and flexible thinkers. In music education when the creative thinking skills are taken away from the student or not thought properly, it causes problems such as the student not being able to observe the world, inability to recognize her abilities and not being able to practice what she learned through out her education which proves the importance of this research. Throughout the research, qualitative research model and as the survey research method scan were used. Interview form was used to collect research data. The result of research determined that, music teachers implement their own curricula, and they do not practice creative thinking, they did not receive any training on creativity, and that they do not acknowledge the creative students' special talents and therefore they aren't able to find out and unlock their full potential.
