By Minux. I just wanted to point out that I find a lot of people thinking MB is a meme website for builds. But I'd like if someone could enlighten me, I mean, I've been wandering through different websites including MB. I find every website usually has something useful to tell. I don't understand why MB has so much hate in general or to a lot of people looks like a meme website. Probably it has some issues, but I think no website is perfect at all. I find everyone tries its best to make a good point to inform people.

The topic was metabattle and meta builds and meta in general, but more so metabattle. Purple then said that metabattle is a pro site where pros post meme builds to mess around with the meta for low elo players. What in the kitten box of kittens are these kittens kittening about. It can be a good foundation for starting builds but your personal preferences, playstyle and the like should take precedence, because people -do- use that site to mess with the meta and influence the opinions of others who don't want to do the legwork for their own builds. It's a good site for information but having the word "meta" as its site name is somewhat of a misnomer for its Conquest section. It is a good start BUT for some modes you need to individual your own build by your own playstyle. I see power herald build there but i modified it for more instant spike dps attacks.

By Malafaia. Was waiting for the patch, since it would certainly be a nerf, to join pvp. Should i use this metabattle build? Or there's other more reliable source? That's not Condi Mirage. It is a power Phantasm build, which is the main meta build at the moment. It's now considered obsolete, but Helseth is still playing it when he does play GW2 , so check his streams. I'm new to mesmer and tried the Disenchanter Mirage build in unranked but couldn't get it going not feeling any learning curve.

Builds by Game Mode. Like other thief builds, Specter brings all the power of a venom precast, and can deal a huge amount of its damage from range as well as providing group support in the form of barrier and Alacrity. Holosmith is a strong all-rounder with a power build that excels in less organised groups, and an impressive condi build if you're able to pull off the rotation. Like Daredevil before it, DPS Vindicator turns its dodge into a powerful strike that buffs its damage but unlike Daredevil, it only needs its endurance to not be full, so it is able to keep a dodge in hand for defence. Not perfect, for sure, but not really any sort of "meme" or anything as you described. Roaming builds are created mostly for solo WvW players who enjoy smaller fights like 1v1, 1vX or flipping camps on their own. Soulbeast is simply the best DPS class for fractals, with both power and condi builds to cover all encounters. Focused on: Direct damage. Its like being an artist, tracing is good practice at first but you don't want to trace forever. For a build to land in S-tier it must be the best of the best.
