As Cub retrieves his bottle, he is unaware that an approaching vehicle is coming, happy tree friends robot. The puppets also had several little rig points so we could attach them to a rig and make them jump up in the air and stuff. I liked trying this reversal because most of the time its Pop just being a super shitty Dad and Cub gets hurt.

Petunia is one of the main characters of Happy Tree Friends. Petunia is an indigo and Navy Blue skunk with a sky-blue arrow marking on her forehead, which is connected to the triangle-shaped marking on the back of her head and sky-blue lines on her long tail. She always wears a pink flower on top of her head and a pine scent car air freshener or deodorizer around her neck. Her name and species are somewhat of a parody of the character Flower from the Disney movie Bambi. She likes playing with dolls and strollers, as well as having tea parties with her friends. Petunia is often seen with Giggles.

I made the model and it looked like vector art, then I printed it out and traced all of the line work with color pencil, then scanned it and put it back over the top. However, Cubtron instead jumps onto the monster's arms so it could take care of him.
Mime is one of the main characters of Happy Tree Friends. He never speaks due to the fact that he is a mime, causing others to have a hard time understanding him as a result. Sometimes the things around him are imaginary, such as walls in Dunce Upon a Time , which he uses in the name of showmanship.
With his legs broken, Lumpy proceeds to crawl away. It's kind of like old-school in an old Filmation cartoon kind of a way. I hope they feel it's true enough to Happy Tree Friends that they like it! I think beyond it being stop motion and having a giant robot in it, the color palette and the soundtrack really put it into a weird, different place. Suddenly, Cubtron begins crying. I could have made 3D hands that were jointed and would have taken a long time and a lot of work but there is something kind of fun about the hands being a flat piece of paper that bends with a wire inside. I made a circle in the computer and just did less and less polygons until it looked more like a Dungeons and Dragons die then a circle, but you got the idea. Happy Tree Friends. Another challenge with our paper puppets was we needed to be able to animate it, not just look at it.
