Like all Herbal Essences products, the naked volume collection has an invigorating scent to arouse your sense of smell.

Urban Decay have an awful lot to answer for in giving that term a whole new and seriously attractive meaning within the world of beauty and cosmetics. So what does naked mean here in the new Herbal Essences Clearly Naked products? It means that there are a few things that have been left out of the formulation for the benefit of our hair. The shampoo still contains sulphates but is free from parabens, silicone and colourants. The conditoner does however contain silicone, but is free from parabens and colourants. It is then that my head thanks me for skipping the sodium!

I feel like it has been ages since i did one of these. I have been using this particular brand and product for over a year now. I use both the shampoo and conditioner and i absolutely adore them. I personally use the volumising version of the product, although i have tried all of the versions in the range. This was until a few weeks ago. I had nearly run out of shampoo, so went to the store to get a new bottle, but they had sold out. Naturally my curiosity got the better of me, and i brought a couple of bottles. So basically this range is called clearly naked because its sort of striped down. They have no colorant, no artificial scents, etc etc. It basically means that they are a bit better for your hair. Now i am the first to admit, i do not wash my hair everyday.

Making the trip by myself can be tiresome, but the scenery is nice. I remember being less than thrilled about the original version. The Herbal Essences Naked line was an affordable option. My hair is ultra-thin and fine, so experimenting with new shampoos and conditioners is always perilous. I use about a quarter-sized amount for my hair and get a lot of nice suds. An alternative that I sometimes use for stronger notes of mint is Loreal Everpure Volume Shampoo , which also has hints of Rosemary and Juniper.
