Home assistant disable integration
Let me explain my use-case, since i think my use-case is generalizable. Devices like my tv, my av receiver, and my logitech harmony hub. Total power consumption is impacted a lot by doing this: a reduction of watts.
You either use default config, or you manage the integrations that default config provides. But, having all of my oauth callback URLs overridden is a huge hassle and while I get that it makes it easier for some users, it should be possible to opt out. I see many change Requests to have an exclude option but could not find anything in the documentation that this was solved. I dont need it, it is broken or at least not able to cope with my network infrastructure and might be the cause for my CPU Load issues. Is there an up to date list what I need to put there? The release notes will make note of this.

In my opinion it would be useful to be able to temporary disable integrations. For example: turn off telegram notifications during the night. According to my information the current solution would be add it to the condition part of an automation. I would like this feature. When an integration does not work anymore but a fix is ongoing, we could disable the integration temporarily no spam in log!! I recently changed routers and had a hard time finding the IP of my lighting controller. Lots of errors instead of me just disabling my lighting integration until I sorted it out. It would be nice to disable the integration instead of deleting it. Same here. I have a kodi integration, but the device is only on if the tv is on. One of them is also outside tree with christmas lights - as they will not be used for some time now I switched off the controller and power supply. So I definitely vote to add a disable option on Integration and also on Device level.
It should work like ESPHome. Also fwiw, the reason that got closed is described by the developers. Especially if is it possible in core integrations.
Seems like this can only be done in the UI. I would love to use this for OctoPrint, which in my case only runs occasionally. After the print is done and the printer cooled down I want to shut down OctoPrint and disable the Integration again. Currently the OctoPrint Integration is always active which slows down every restart of Home Assistant and adds unnecessary Warnings to the Log. I have to disable my telldus integration every now and again.

You signed out in another tab or window. This would alleviate the problem. Month of "What the heck?! Thank you. Is there an up to date list what I need to put there? I have a kodi integration, but the device is only on if the tv is on. You switched accounts on another tab or window. It can be done, as seen by many other integrations. I see many change Requests to have an exclude option but could not find anything in the documentation that this was solved. All it would take is a gag order and any modern logging stack such as loki or elasticsearch and the feds would gain the ability to spy on thousands of users. Already have an account? Evidently you can hack this by changing the domain: line in. I was hoping to link google mail but in order to do that I have to allow your organization to be able to intercept the oauth and gain access to an API that controls my EMAIL.

What on earth could be the rationalization for this? Maybe the solution is in the integration, a service to stop and start the connection fi? I have other examples where my tuya devices go down expectedly and I am flooded too with messages which could be handled better imo…this would still be the integration to deal with that. Curious if is it enough to disable it for one instance to disable whole integration? Yeah I guess with comments like this You should not use this custom integration, nor should you expect it to work. I dont need it, it is broken or at least not able to cope with my network infrastructure and might be the cause for my CPU Load issues. If there was such a service call then I could use automations to enable them when they power up, and disable them again when they power down. For me, this would also be a great addition. Anything in the logs that might be useful for us? I believe this would be a more valid request: detailed control of log messages. Authorization codes are short lived and need to be swapped out for actual refresh and access tokens. So, the integration must be added first to be disabled, right? There must be an easy way to stop the integration connecting to the cube. Switching off integrations to prevent a resulting action is imo not the right way froward. I agree.
I know a site with answers on interesting you a question.
Excuse, that I interrupt you, I too would like to express the opinion.
It agree, rather useful message
