Woollim Entertainment has dropped the ball when it comes to Golden Child solos and sub-units. The potential for fun mash-ups and interesting musical diversions feels endless, but the agency has a hard enough time even managing regular group comebacks. So instead of exploring new avenues for its talents, they give us the most predictable ballads. Hong Joochan is one of my favorite K-pop vocalists of this era. In fact, he might be number one on my list. I could listen to his crystal clear, evocative tone sing anything.

From the nightmares to the laugh-out-loud moments, the nail-biting court trials to the feel-good scenes, the drama delivered some wonderful content over the past 16 episodes. Warning: the second half of this review contains spoilers for the final episodes. These three are as charismatic as can be, not to mention quirky, earnest, and so genuinely good that it was heartwarming to watch them grow closer together with every challenge and near-death experience they faced. From the workplace…. Each and every character added an extra dimension to the drama that made the storyline that much richer. And while none of the characters presented particularly challenging roles to play, the actors were well-suited to their parts in a way that really made them shine.
