Hisoka was one of the first antagonists to debut in the Hunter X Hunter universe. He was a fan favorite for his demented mannerisms, unique aesthetic, and the terrifying bungee gum ability at his disposal which combines the properties of rubber and gum to make a formidable weapon. Their color schemes are impeccable, combining his famous ivory with the gaudy maroon and pink to compliment it. Perhaps most important is the nonchalant way in which they present themselves, matching the character's casually malevolent nature. Through this same unassuming though quietly menacing comportment, Hisoka became one of the most intimidating villains for Gon and Killua to face in the original Hunter Exam arc. By copying the Nen user's posture, he further brings the character to life.
