I think I should be able to choose to wear any clothes, imvu men, male or female regardless of what gender I choose. There are some men's clothing that can be worn by female avatars. You just have to try them on before buying to be sure.

To fully appreciate it I need to sort myself a decent avi and this is wear I am struggling at present. I have done a bit of reading and research and am slowly getting to grips. It is so much more complicated than IMVU in every way. But i'm hoping its worth the effort.

The number of different IMVU people is just as varied as the real world. The IMVU people page gives you an option to search out kindred spirits and connect with new people. You can search by location, gender, age and even current relationship.

There are some men's clothing that can be worn by female avatars. Didn't mean to offend. I have done a bit of reading and research and am slowly getting to grips. Depending on how detailed the item is and whether or not there is already a mesh that is in the catalog that can be used to make what you want will all add to the price you may need to pay some one just to make the item for you. Sadly, many creators that started doing free requests stopped doing so not long after do to people never buying what they requested meaning the creator never got even one sale from something that they spent hours to weeks on. It gets much easier as time goes on though and you already seem pretty informed about everything. Then the mesher assigns it the correct number for whether they wish it to be able to be worn on a male avatar, female avatar, or placing both numbers so it works for both. Ask A Question.
