WA police probe suspected murder-suicide after former couple found dead in different Perth suburbs. A man and woman in their 30s are dead in what police suspect could be a murder-suicide across two crime scenes in Perth. Police said the two were a former couple and hold no safety fears for the wider community. It began when emergency services were called to an address in a housing estate in South Guildford about am on Thursday morning. The body of a year-old woman was inside the home on Sabina Road, with police at the time saying her death was suspicious. Dozens of police and an ambulance attended the scene, with the street cordoned off with police tape. Detectives were seen walking around nearby streets, door-knocking and talking to members of the public. A short time later, about am, emergency services responded to a house fire in Escot Road, Innaloo, where the body of a year-old man was found. Police said the man's death was not being treated as suspicious. The detective said police were "quickly" alerted to the possibility of a connection in the cases by examining phones. Detective Inspector Gorton would not reveal the nature of the woman's injuries, and confirmed murder-suicide was one line of investigation officers were looking into. He said the man was believed to be deceased before the fire damaged his Innaloo home.
Ms Lyall has been described as a "loving mother" and "incredibly generous".
