Trade Paperback. Sam Logan is best known as the creator of Sam and Fuzzy, a massive comedy adventure series that he has been writing and illustrating for over 15 years. He lives in Vancouver, BC with his two dogs.

She is also the daughter of Professor Membrane and the menacing younger sister of Dib Membrane. Known for her dark, violent and antisocial personality, Gaz has frequently expressed her disdain for the rest of the human race, seeming to care about only two things in the world: pizza and video games. Few have been known to get between her and those two things and walk away unscathed. In the show, Gaz has short straight purple hair and wears a short black dress with striped gray sleeves, striped reddish leggings, black shoes, and a necklace in the shape of a skull. This led many fans to assume she was a Goth, but the executive producer, Jhonen Vasquez , did not view her as such. So in order to make her seem less like a Goth, he redesigned her appearance for the comic series in an attempt to change her impression with the fans.

Invader zim zim and gaz

Zim using Gaz as an unwilling umbrella in the episode " The Wettening ". The relationship between Gaz and Zim in the series would most likely be described as unpleasant and aloof at best. Throughout the course of the show, neither character has ever expressed anything close to affection for, or even a friendly demeanor towards, each other. So far, Gaz has hardly spoken more than a few lines to Zim and seems to consider him a vague nuisance, rather than an actual threat to Earth. In-between the events of the first few episodes, she and Zim met, though it can be said that it was a first meeting that was "far" from friendly or affectionate. However, even though they don't interact much, they do have some things in common: namely, their mutual hatred of Dib , and their mutual desire to cause him great pain in various forms though they have never succeeded in "killing" him to date. They even have a loathing for Earth itself. Also, both Zim and Gaz have a penchant for being melodramatic when angered, as well as a love for destruction. Both can also be very determined in getting whatever it is they want and can be rather stubborn. They also share common interests, such as a surprisingly high tolerance for GIR and his hyperactivity, interestingly Gaz also has a knack for robotics like Zim since she was the only human who has been seen creating security robots that can be quite deadly as demonstrated in " Gaz, Taster of Pork ". Their contact throughout the series is very limited.

This is noteworthy, as GIR amazingly was able to make Gaz dance and even went as far as to give her a kiss, much to her disgust. Comic Series.

Gaz Membrane. Issue 10 :. Interestingly, while Tak never took off her disguise in Dib's presence, she did deactivate it as she was making her escape to do her plan, not caring that Gaz saw her, most likely because Tak didn't see the point as her identity as an Irken was already revealed. Iggins made off with it by faking his name, but was called on his deception by an angry Gaz, who warned that Iggins wouldn't get away with it without "invoking her wrath anyhow. She seems to be the only one of them that cares that they rarely get to see their father, and is therefore more willing to go out of her way to spend time with him when she can. Issue 48 :. Their first meeting was anything but friendly, as she quickly grew irritated with his gloating over his gaming achievements, and he even thought she had a "funny name", apparently unaware that he insulted her. Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus :. Issue 17 :. Issue 11 :.

The relationship between Gaz and Zim in the series could be accurately described as unfriendly, and aloof at best. Throughout the course of the show, neither character has ever expressed anything close to affection for, or even a friendly demeanor towards, each other.

Issue 41 Issue 42 Issue 43 Issue 44 Issue Gaz cares little for most people and generally regards human interaction as nothing more than a means to an end. Interestingly, when they first met, Iggins' heart made the cartooney "love sound", hinting at a crush on Gaz. Issue 5 :. This fact becomes even more apparent later in the same episode, when the Zim-controlled Dib Robot-Spy appears to have a spastic fit in front of Gaz, enraging her and Zim screams when he sees her coming "his way" and ordered the robot Dib to run away despite Zim being in no real danger. They both hardly paid the other much attention, but clearly Tak acknowledged that Gaz was smarter than most humans, as she was not only immune to her mind erasing abilities but was also the only human who has caused her any sort of pain, as Gaz soaked her with poop cola that somewhat burned her. Their contact throughout the series is very limited. Issue 48 :. Issue 12 :. Although she usually only plays a supporting role, often as the unwilling sidekick to Dib, she has been the main subject in some episodes of the show and issues of the comic. Issue 22 :. While she thinks he's so bad at his job of invading, she at least acknowledges that he has powerful technology to destroy the planet but sees that he can't use it properly. Their limited interaction, however, is quite predictable and somewhat different in that GIR seems to be infatuated with Gaz, but she has little tolerance for him, which surprisingly GIR seems to understand, as hinted in their first meeting where he admires her beauty and she seems to get annoyed at him for it.
