The fire seemed to have started in the offices along the periphery of Malecon 2. The fire quickly spread to the shops along the outside along Avenida Morelos, the little tiendas inside where they sell clothing, trinkets, all the little stands and stalls, many of them were wiped out due to the fire, the smoke and the water damage caused by the fire fighters attempting to douse the flames. We were welcomed and treated like family! This site and app let me do all the planning for our 15 day trip in a little over 6 hours! La Quinta is an authentic Italian restaurant a block behind the Chedraui grocery store. It has a nice ambience. They do a number of items well but it's my go-to spot for two items: pizza and stromboli. My wife ate some of my steak and baked potato to hold her over. There is live entertainment several days a week and the owners genuinely care about their customers and staff. The staff work well together and get the food out quickly. This dining experience can be described as excellent, with an outstanding service provided.
