Yeji is my favourite member out of the 5 and I have so much love and respect for her and I feel like she deserves the whole worlds love and more and her as a person she is amazing and always will be with that smile, itzy main vocal.

All of the members, with the exception of Lia , appeared in Mnet's reality show Stray Kids as a project group against the boy group Stray Kids in On September 18, , JYP Entertainment announced that Lia would be going on hiatus due to symptoms of extreme tension and anxiety. Lia was born in South Korea but moved to Canada and lived there for several years. The rest of the members were born and raised in South Korea. Several of the members participated in different competitions prior to their debut. All of the members, except for Lia, appeared in the show Stray Kids in Ryujin and Yeji are the introverts in the group. Lia, Chaeryeong, and Yuna are the extroverts. Chaeryeong trained for 6 years, the longest among ITZY members. Lia trained for 2 years, the shortest among ITZY members.
