Please see my disclosure for more details! I am fully and utterly obsessed with making drip cakes as we all know, and this one is no exception… I am in love with this Christmas drip cake! I know it may look a little over the top with some of the decorations, but I am here to bring my random creations to life! One thing that I have been requested to do many times is a Christmas themed drip cake — and I went with it. This recipe is here to give you a guide — you can have fun with it! For this recipe, I took some inspiration from my gingerbread drip cake , but made it chocolate-themed too! I liked the idea of a chocolate victoria sponge recipe with ground ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg — the flavours to give the warmth and more of a festive feel, and ohhhh my days it worked so well!

They are recipes that develop over the time because of the alcohol that you put into the bake. However, for the cheats Christmas pudding I thought about the people who, like me, often forget to create a bake like these within the time frame. This Christmas cake recipe however?! I am bang on the correct time for this beauty. Christmas cake? Yes, Christmas cake. You can do it 10 weeks before, 8 weeks, 6 weeks etc… just the nearer to Christmas you make it, the less feeding time you have. You can store and wrap the Christmas cake really well after feeding in parchment paper and tin foil, in a metal cake tin plastic tubs may make them sweat. I use a combination of raisins, sultanas, currants, dried cranberries, glaze cherries, and mixed peel. The total weight is about g worth of fruits, which is a lot — but you need a lot for a decent Christmas cake!

My favourite drip is the same as the one on my Mini Egg drip cakeand it uses a mix of dark chocolate, milk chocolate and double cream — milk chocolate ganache can often be too thin, janes patisserie christmas, and dark chocolate can be too thick. Is there anything else I janes patisserie christmas use instead of Alcohol for the moisture? Bake in the oven for minutes until spread out perfectly crinkly.

Please see my disclosure for more details! These beauties are without a doubt one of my favourite cookies I have ever done, and can you blame me?! Just look at how festive, fun and delicious they look!! The vanilla cookie dough colours, the chocolate, and all the red, white, and green! You can of course adapt the cookies and customise them in many ways…. In these cookies I used purely light brown soft sugar compared to my normal combination of light brown soft sugar and granulated sugar. You can use all white granulated sugar, this will just result in a light coloured cookie, or you can use dark brown soft sugar like in my gingerbread nyc cookies , and get a darker cookie with a more caramel flavour.

Last year the insanely popular bake was my gingerbread NYC cookies , but this year?! I wanted to go a little further and create a fun decorated cookie that is still utterly delicious. This year, the bake of the season is these beauties… Christmas pudding cookies!! I had so many requests for these in the past, and I just had so many ideas I could never fit them in — but this year I made sure I could. Just look at them! Chocolate cookie heaven. These beauties are based on my triple chocolate crinkle cookies which have been on my blog for years and years — a cookie that is an absolute staple in my world.
