I see in the discussion a lot of people are not happy about Javier being the main character for most parts of season 3. Why do you guys not like the idea of a new main character? I hate him because I don't want to play as some absurdly handsome random doofus I don't know anything about. I want to play as the badass character I've spent the last two games with. I also have a bad feeling that Javier is gonna be Clem's love interest and Clem is gonna go back to being a character we have to protect. Like, caring about and wanting to protect Clem was one of the best parts of S1. One of the big problems I had with S2 is that there's no other character who fills that "protect" role since we are Clem. Why do people hate Javier? It's because he has no ties at all to the running story of the Walking Dead. It's new, new is good, but it's the fact that we're now following a guy and his problems that we never even met before.
