Jeff the killer origin

Jeff the Killer is a particularly infamous Creepypasta. The story was formed sort of spontaneously by a user named "Sesseur" on the old Encyclopaedia Dramatica back in , based on speculation about the origin about a particularly unsettling picture on the Creepypasta article called " joy. A video on YouTube soon surfaced with a edit of this picture to be deranged and scary in October of This is a combination of original research and memories of former ED editors, whose words must be taken at face value because in most of the relevant image discussion pages and user profiles for ED were deleted in their entirety when the lead admin attempted to erase the site off the internet; though ED was resurrected, the discussion pages with any information relevant to the case were not recovered. However, like everything else on the Internet, one person's guess is as good as anyone else's. It eventually become almost synonymous with Creepypasta itself, mostly known thanks to the ridiculous amount of spinoffs, as well as its infamously Narmy and unrealistic origin story, both of which have turned something originally totally off-the-rails frightening into something Over the years, the other well-written Creepypastas have resulted in this Jeff the Killer becoming increasingly derided and disliked, so much so that it got removed off the Creepypasta Wiki and placed on its sister site, the Trollpasta Wiki, dedicated to non-serious and poorly written Creepypastas referred to at one point on the Wiki as crappypastas. A remake was posted in but was also criticized for the fact that, while it managed to fix the broken grammar and plot holes, it still wasn't that great overall. The origin of the image associated with the Creepypasta may be more interesting than the story itself. For years, multiple rumors flew around the image, including that it was an edited photo of an overweight girl who was bullied on 4Chan and killed herself, or that it was an edited photo of an early camgirl. In , Sesseur claimed in an interview that he made the image himself with a latex mask and some makeup.

The video has since gained over 50 million views.

The character is frequently used as a popular Internet Screamer along with becoming a largely popular cute Spagetti story. The first known use of the image originates from a Japanese YouTube video on August 2, in which the image appears in the mark shown right :. On August 14th, , user killerjeff, posted the image on the Newgrounds forums and claimed that the image was in fact, a picture of himself. On September, user killerjeff posted another image on the Newgrounds forums and claimed that the picture was made in "SpongeBob style. The second image that was up on Killerjeff's article was claimed to be originally called by it's filename, "Joy. Around October , YouTube user, Sesseur as the creator of Killerjeff's Newground account made a Creepypasta about the pictures he took off of his Newground entries.

Plenty of Creepypasta greats started circulating around then, but one of the first was Jeff the Killer. The fictitious-but-murderous Emo boy appeared all over the web by , but his origin is hotly contested. Like most copy-paste stories, the original idea has been passed from user to user, leading to multiple creators taking credit for the beloved internet murder. After all these years, there are plenty of derivative copies of Jeff the Killer, but these are the very first contenders to claim the pale killer as their own. Jeff has been memorialized in hundreds of stories and fanart pictures over the years, but perhaps his most well-known image the upsetting picture just above lives in infamy. As I said before, the picture has no clear source of origin, but two contenders have claimed ownership of the picture. The first and most widely corroborated and accepted is that YouTuber Sesseur originally created and shared a video on his account. The second from comes from Newgrounds user KillerJeff, who allegedly snapped the shot from a pop-up-scare video.

Jeff the killer origin

Jeff the Killer , born Jeffery Woods, is the titular main protagonist turned to the main antagonist of the and revamped Creepypasta story of the same title " Jeff the Killer " and " Jeff the Killer ". He is an adolescent serial killer and registered Creepypasta. He was disfigured after being set on fire while fighting a gang of bullies and lost his sanity after witnessing his "new" and "beautiful" face. Jeff was a year-old who moved to a new neighborhood with his brother, Liu, and their parents. Liu took the blame for it and was arrested, sending Jeff into a deep depression. The bullies later attacked Jeff again at a party, and Jeff killed one of them, but not before getting covered in bleach and lit on fire by Keith. During this fight, Jeff's mind permanently snapped. When Jeff woke up, he was at the hospital and his head was wrapped in bandages. When the bandages were taken off, it was revealed that his face had become disfigured and ghastly pale from the burns, with bright red lips and a leathery texture.

Send to Friend. Stabbed, son! Believe it or not stuff like that can happen. See, I can believe this can happen to people in the spur of the moment, but not permanently. Cutting your mouth would cause in infections. Despite this, he still has a bruise on his nose from where Jeff punched him, which you think would have healed first. Considering the fact the monitor flash of her face turned out to be white, she looked kind of creepy and brutally got progressively photoshopped by numerous of anons. If you didnt like it then dont fucking comment and its just a story why is everyone getting so worked up over this ied like to see them write a good creepypasta. Start a Wiki. I imagined Jeff having a much better legend then this. There was a boon of spelling errors, and the tense changed from sentence to sentence at times. He looked around and found only striped and patterned shirts. But the continuity… horrible. When she looked into the bathroom she saw a horrendous sight. Nothing about it is really scary.

An unnerving image of a pale creature grinning at the camera even as it has no nose, ears, or eyelids to speak of has been a part of the early internet creepy canon since the mids. The creature has since been christened Jeff the Killer and has had its story told, retold, warped, and edited since it was first shared. Here's all you need to know to keep your story straight if you ever encounter Jeff and his infamous slogan; "Go to sleep…".

When the bullies tried to get revenge on Jeff during the party I laughed. I personally liked it. I think it just blocked everyone, no what age they typed. These turds that are about 9 to 10 and they pulled out guns. This story is shit. Okay, no problem. After all Jeff the killer is one of my favorite creepypastas. Also, it makes no how he became a ninja or went insane. Having all magically healed from their injuries, they proceeded to magically know where Jeff was. The Internet Historian and some other Youtubers got in on the fun as well.
