Our Lord, we praise Thee and bless Thy Name forever. That moment, in the most difficult place, your sorrow is turned to Joy, your fret to praise, the outward circumstances change from those of disorder to order, of chaos to calm. The beginning of all reform must be in yourselves. However restricted your circumstances, however little you may be able to remedy financial affairs, you can always turn to yourselves, and seeing something not in order there, seek to right that. As all reform is from within out, you will always find the outward has improved too. To do this is to release the imprisoned God-Power within you. That Power, once operative, will immediately perform miracles. Then indeed shall your mourning be turned into Joy. Fret not thyself because of evildoers … Trust in the Lord, and do good … Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm Turn your eyes to behold Me. Look away from sordid surroundings, from lack of beauty, from the imperfections in yourselves and those around you. Then you who have the Faith-Vision will see all you could and do desire in Me. In your unrest behold My calm, My rest. In your impatience, My unfailing patience.

So some people will have the nerve to talk to you a certain way or say things about you that are not right and that are hurtful.

When I have experienced the unconditional love of God especially in times of unloving choices I have made against God, myself, and others, what a blessed impact it has had on me. It will be no different when I respond to unloving behavior toward me with the unconditional love God has shown me. It is one of the most powerful witnesses unto the glory of God and it will make an impact on the soul of the one who has wronged me. The impact may not be immediately evident but it has taken place and in time it will bear fruit. I just need to look in the mirror for evidence of that truth.

Monday, August 26 Jesus Calling: October 31st, Jesus Calling: October 31st Learn to listen to Me even while you are listening to other people. As they open their souls to your scrutiny, you are on holy ground. You need the help of My Spirit to respond appropriately. Ask Him to think through you, live through you, love through you.
