In , Jungkook released his debut solo single " Seven " featuring Latto , which broke numerous chart and streaming records. His follow-up single " 3D ", featuring Jack Harlow , debuted at number five on both the Hot and the UK Singles Chart , making Jungkook the first South Korean solo artist to achieve two consecutive top-five entries on the latter. When he became a trainee, he transferred to Singu Middle School in Seoul. He graduated from School of Performing Arts Seoul , an arts high school, in He was awarded the President's Award, the school's highest honor. The first, a pop track titled "Begin", from the album Wings , tells his story of moving to Seoul at a young age to become an idol and expresses his gratitude towards his bandmates for taking care of him during that time.

Did it remind you of how much you missed seeing fans in person? The roar of crowds and of ARMY is something we loved. And when we do TV programs or promotions, it gets our heart racing and makes us long for it more and more. It made me miss it even more. How has it affected you to essentially grow up within BTS? I started my trainee years when I was growing up, and one thing I think is a real blessing for me is I got to meet these wonderful, nice, good six members. I think I matured into a really good person that can be loved by a lot of people. Do you ever wonder about what you may have missed from ordinary life?

He is a gifted singer, rapper, songwriter, director, record producer and art enthusiast. From auditioning in numerous reality shows as a year-old to gearing up for his solo debut in , the BTS member has come a long way. He holds the positions of the official centre, the main vocalist, sub rapper and lead dancer. Often referred to as Busan Prince by fans and people from his hometown, Jungkook moved to Seoul at the end of to become a trainee and attended the School of Performing Arts Seoul. In , Jungkook participated in the popular Mnet audition programme, SuperStar K Season 3 but never made it to the finals.

Whenever the other BTS members have been asked about their youngest member, Jungkook, they all unanimously agree and assert that he excels in everything that he attempts. He is in an important position, the center of all acts, he has a lot of parts.
