Travis Williams, 49, of Sheridan, IN, was operating one of the commercial vehicles, accelerated in front of the other tractor-trailer, and stopped in the travel portion of the roadway. The action caused both vehicles to stop in the right lane of travel. State police say this action caused a chain of collisions including a Ford F driven by Dallas Woodard, 18, from Rineyville, to hit the rear of one of the commercial vehicle trailers. A total of six vehicles were involved in the collision, according to KSP. Woodward was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hart County Coroner.
