Kushina Uzumaki is kushina uzumaki red-haired, willful mother of the titular protagonist Naruto Uzumaki. She was known for her fiery personality, kushina uzumaki, her containment of the Nine-Tailed Beast Kurama, and her relationship with Naruto's father Minato Namikaze.

She also has dark red colored hair that reaches past her knees. In the anime, her hair is waist length. She even wears a small black hairclip where she keeps her hair up on the left side of her face. As a little girl, she was slightly chubby. She was seen briefly wearing a Konoha headband after graduating from the academy. Kushina is described as being a tomboy by both Tsunade and Jiraiya and she even had a short temper. As first seen as a little girl, she was shy. However, she became more confident, and she had the tendency to lash out at people who would annoy her. Like her son, Naruto, she even has her own verbal tic dattebane which is a feminine version of Naruto's dattebayo. Despite her violent outbursts, Kushina has a soft and caring side of her, and she was very strong-willed which caused her to even risk her life to protect her son and wish the very best of his life. Kushina was born on July 10 in The Land of Whirlpools from an unnamed couple, and was a member of a clan that founded the land and was greatly renowned by ninjas from all over the world called the one and only Uzumaki Clan. As a little girl, Kushina lived in the time of war where many nations feared her clan and were frequently targeted because of their powerful Sealing Jutsus and long lifespans.

Born into the famed Uzumaki clan of Uzushiogakure, Kushina lived most of her youth being caught up in war, making her seek for daily peace. At a young age, she was sent to Konoha and enrolled in the Academy. Wanting to make a strong first impression, she proclaimed to her class that she would be the first female Hokage. This prompted her to lash out and pummel the kids who teased her. Before the transfer was performed, Mito advised Kushina that love was the only way to tame the Nine-Tails and overcome its hate.

Kushina is a ninja from the former Whirlpool country. She had long red hair and she is a beautiful woman. Most of Naruto's ninja skills and personality come from his her. When Tsunade and Jiraiya talked about her, they described her as a talkative tomboy whom became more and more beautiful as she grew up, and also had a jutsu-style like Naruto's. One day after completing his book, Jiraiya one of the legendary Sannin and Minato's teacher, decided to take a visit while Kushina was pregnant. Jiraiya had given them a copy of his book about an outstanding ninja, the character in the story being named " Naruto," and he sought their opinions.
