Originally a live-action stage play, LazyTown became a hit Iceland-based children's television show that made lazytown apple American debut on cable television station Nick Jr. Created by star Magnus Scheving, lazytown apple, LazyTown was essentially a vehicle to promote healthy activity in kids.

Robbie Rotten uses sugar apples to trick Sportacus into eating candy and going into a sugar meltdown. Robbie has a machine Candymaker that accepts large amounts of sugary candy in a hopper and uses that material to create a piece of candy that outwardly appears to be a normal apple. Robbie then slips the apple to Sportacus who eats it thinking it is healthy. When Sportacus eats sugar, he has what is known as a "sugar meltdown", leaving him too weak to stand or concentrate. Robbie tricks Sportacus into putting on a pair of radio-controlled boots and making it impossible for him to function as a superhero. Enter Robbie as Lazycus to become the new town hero. Can Sportacus defeat his own feet? Robbie challenges Sportacus to a competition but cheats and Sportacus is out of the race. Can the kids compete against Robbie alone? Sportacus loses his crystal and Stingy finds it but does not return it. Robbie uses the opportunity to give Sportacus a fake crystal and now LazyTown is in real trouble.
