It works great by remote control, but does not give clear definition when changing inputs directly from the knob which is, of course, my preference. It's a trivial thing, but I do use the knob often and have kept the remote nearby for that purpose. I could see Seinfeld making a "knob" episode. Overall, I'm happy as can be with it. Pros: powerful clear sound simplistic design loaded functions cool retro look.
