Two are positioned directly ahead of you, eating a corpse, and a third lurks to the left. Your ultimate destination should lead you behind a Broken Statue which you can dispatch without it ever harming you. At the top of the long ladder up from the sewers, after the broken statue, there's a set of stairs just to the right and behind you. The summon pools you activate in Royal Capital remain active in Ashen Capital. As you descend, watch for an enemy that attacks from your left. Kill them and look ahead and you will see one of those large perfumer beasts on a large pile of sand, guarding a few items. Follow that ledge to the door at the far end to arrive at a ladder looking down on the building that houses the Lower Capital Church site of grace. Upon entering, you may want to check this area first specifically the southeast section , before you head up the stairs. After dispatching these enemies, check the stable on the right to find another corpse you can loot, the body has 5x Old Fangs. Near that adversary, there are several bodies you can check for the Golden Rune [11] , another Golden Rune [8] , and a Somber Smithing Stone [5]. There are some roaming hounds here, as well as the base of a large root leading to the upper balcony. You will find yourself under the wing of the giant dragon corpse that hangs over the city.
