Despite what you may personnally think, this doesn't change everything, but it does change much. Now, for this little thing to happen, we need to give Jaina some of her daddy's mindset. Basically, give her the current mindset she has already. However, the biggest change has to be Arthas. He would need more discipline and patience for this to work. So, it's Warcraft 3, the scourge is currently running around and killing things. Gilneas builds a wall that gives the president of the US some ideas, and everyone is trying to figure out how to stop the scourge. We're at a specific point and time, the time where Arthas is supposed to burn down a large town. Arthas, however, does NOT do this, and was convinced by Uther not to. Jaina however, was for this idea. If they kill all the plague-ridden victims, then that would stop the plague from spreading. It is logical, but at the same time murder.

If things had been so utterly different then BfA could look like anything. Likely not BfA at all. Possibly no WoW at all. Maybe some of those people would have gone on to cure diseases, or get into politics. And Scourgelord Garrosh.
Alt History is a new series of posts on All Things Azeroth which are going to take on a bit of a change from the Tin Foil Hat articles from WoW Insider, instead looking at alternative history, at what might have been if some things had occurred in different ways. Join us in imagining the way the game might have gone if things had happened differently. Let me first explain a bit about how this series is going to go. Each post in this series is going to do a bit of lore theory crafting to imagine where we would be now, if things had not gone how they did. We will first recall the way it did go, then look at what would have happened differently, and lastly try to figure out what the world of Azeroth would be like now if it had gone that way. I think it will be a lot of fun to look at and imagine. Jaina, the Lich Queen.

The pirate interrupts the story again, again saying that she already knows the tale of Arthas' fall, but in response, the thespian changes the story by stating that Jaina decided that Arthas couldn't succeed without her and that the plague needed to be eradicated. Thus, Jaina joined Arthas in destroying Stratholme , and the two of them vowed never to leave one another's side. The thespian continues by telling of how the Frozen Throne whispered to Jaina and promised her the power to battle and ultimately control evil, and of how Arthas and Jaina knelt before the Frozen Throne together, offering fealty to the dark force that had drawn them together again.
