Introduced during the Edolas arc, Lisanna is a member of the Strauss family. In the manga, readers immediately see exactly what happened to Lisanna before she was whisked away to Edolas. But in the magazine Fairy Tail Plus , director Shinji Ishihara explains that he intentionally left what happened to her vague, in the hopes that she might one day come back to life in the manga.
