Loch n load

It is a double-barreled break-action grenade launcher. Grenades explode as normal if they strike an enemy, strike a buildingor if the fuse expires; however, if they hit anything else before then, they shatter, dealing no damage or push force. The loch n load icon for the Loch-n-Load was contributed by Psyke.

The Loch-n-Load is looked at by many to be Demoman's worst primary, and while in some scenarios that's true, there's one area where it's usable to its fullest. Before that though, let's look at what it offers. First, let's look at the extra damage to buildings. That seems great and all, but stickies can destroy buildings just as easily, so on a stock Demo loadout, this stat is pretty negligible. Second, there's the longer travel time granted by the faster projectiles. On stock demo, the grenades are usually your close to mid-range option, with stickies being your mid to long-range option. Making your grenades able to fill all 3 of those options is useful, but you can do better at long ranged combat with stickies more often than not.

So I was playing Demoman today and a Scout was giving me crap for using the loch-N-Load saying it was a crutch weapon. He said that people who suck with stock use it because it has better projectile speed. Your thoughts? Showing 1 - 15 of comments. GL already does nothing unless planned if you miss, or if that heavy didnt look down at the right time so you could consider it a crutch seeing how faster projectiles are always easier to aim unless you are so good at regular proj.
